Our thanks to all of those people who talked to us about becoming a foster carer during foster care fortnight and to all those carers who helped out over the two weeks.  We still need more people interested in fostering to get in touch!  You've probably been thinking about fostering for a while now, so why not contact us today to find out more about how you can help Sheffield children.

Family Placement Services manages the Adoption and Fostering service for Sheffield City Council. Sheffield City Council has nearly 700 children in care at any one time and we need foster carers and adoptive parents to offer a home to Sheffield’s children.

 

Sheffield City Council has a wealth of experience in supporting foster carers and adoptive parents. We provide the highest standards of training and support. We will be with you every step of the way.

 

Many children in care have memories of trauma, loneliness and insecurity.  They lack the support and belief in themselves and their potential that comes naturally from being part of a caring family.  This is where you can help.
