Service Charter for Crematoria

Open both Crematoria for 253 days per year for funeral services and in addition Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium will be open on Saturday mornings
    

Accommodate 26 daily cremation times at City Road Crematorium and 13 daily cremation times at Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium.
    

Open our Garden of Remembrance and Halls of Remembrance for 365 days per year to allow access to your chosen memorials at all times including Anniversaries and Christmas
    

Provide a 24 hour/7 day a week on-line booking service for cremations so that a suitable date for the funeral can be agreed with the Funeral Director at the earliest opportunity
    

Allocate you a service time of 30 minutes. If additional time is required, then this can be arranged by the Funeral Director.
    

Ensure that the music is in accordance with your wishes. Contact your Funeral Director to select music or alternatively an organ is available.
    

Record the funeral service for you (at additional cost) if we are advised in advance. This can be given to friends and relatives who are unable to attend the funeral.
    

Accommodate 150 Mourners at Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium. Accommodate 200 in the Old Chapel and 100 in the New Chapel at City Road Crematorium. If advance notice is given of an exceptionally large funeral, the service can be relayed by loudspeaker to mourners outside.
    

Send you information within 3 working days detailing the types of memorial available after cremation.
    

Dispose of the cremated remains in accordance with the family's wishes.
