Traffic Cameras
There are 33 traffic CCTV cameras in Sheffield providing images of the most significant parts of the road network. The camera images are updated once a minute throughout the working day.
You can select a camera to view from the Camera List, which details the roads covered by each camera, or from the Traffic Camera Map which shows the camera locations.
The resolution and size of the images on this site are deliberately chosen so as to prevent identification of individuals or vehicles. To maintain this anonymity, images from cameras may be unavailable from time to time. The camera images are not routinely recorded at present, and it is the policy of the council not to make other CCTV images or recordings available to the public - for futher details contact Traffic Control.
The City also has a network of security CCTV cameras (not managed by Traffic Control) - images from those cameras are not available on the website.
