Car Club Survey
We used the following survey results to work with WhizzGo on where future Car Club cars could go. There is now a car available at Sharrow Vale Road with more potentially to follow in other locations.
Car Club survey questionnaires were sent to residents (and many businesses) in the following areas:
- Ecclesall Road area between Hunters Bar and the inner ring road
- Crookes
- Crookesmoor and Broomhill
- Walkley
- Hillsborough
Results were as follows:
- 386 people replied to the questionnaire
- 144 said they would be interested in joining the Car Club, with another 136 saying it was at least a possibility
- 201 suggestions were made for Car Club locations. The most popular locations were around the Hunters Bar / Ecclesall Rd / Sharrow Vale Rd area (75). The second most popular locations were in the Crookes area (49).
- The survey also gave information, such as the types of cars people would be interested in, when they might use the Car Club and how many cars they currently owned.
