Traffic Control
The Traffic Information and Control team operate, maintain and develop the city's traffic control equipment - traffic signals, signalled pedestrian crossings, variable message signs, traffic CCTV cameras and the Urban Traffic Control (UTC) system.
Traffic signal faults can be reported 24 hours a day, 365 days a year on
Sheffield (0114) 273 6666.
An engineer will attend an urgent traffic signal fault within 3 hours
Other highway and street lighting faults can be reported on Sheffield (0114) 273 4567.
Enquiries about traffic control issues can be made on Sheffield (0114) 273 6666, during normal office hours (09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday)

Please do not report traffic signal faults by e-mail, we are not able to respond immediately, so the fault will not be attended to as quickly as it would be for a telephone report.
