Council Travel Plan

A WhizzGo Car Club car

The Council Travel Plan is about how Sheffield City Council takes responsibility for the impact its own travel has and looks at how it can change it for the better.

A car sharing website, bike doctor, pool bicycles, public transport discount scheme, home working, more efficient work travel, car club - these are some of the ways that we will be making travel to and from Council sites better for the environment and less likely to cause congestion.

Download the travel plan below to find out:
  • How people travel to and from our sites
  • What we are aiming to change
  • How this will be done

The outline is for people who want a quick read.  The full travel plan is a larger document with much more detail.  For a hard copy of either or any information about the Council Travel Plan, contact Duncan McIntyre on 0114 205 3073 or email travelplans@sheffield.gov.uk.

If you would like your school to develop a travel plan go to the School Travel Plans page.  If you would like your business/organisation to have a travel plan, take a look at the Workplace Travel Plans page.
