Street Force remove graffiti from council owned buildings and structures but our service can be bought in by commercial organisations such as businesses, shops and offices across the city. We also provide advice on graffiti prevention and graffiti removal.
Graffiti on private houses will be removed free of charge.
Before any work is done, we will visit the site, provide you with a written estimate and we may need you to sign a standard council indemnity form.
As long as we don't need special access or authorisation, the graffiti will be removed as soon as possible. If the job has specific timetables we will do our best to accommodate them.
If the area is frequently used by pedestrians or traffic, the work will be done early in the morning and this will be discussed with you when we visit or will be detailed on the estimate.
We undertake graffiti removal work provided the following conditions apply:
- We can only work on a private building with the permission of the owner and we miay require a signed indemnity form
- The site must have safe access for a large box van vehicle
- Work on walls where the graffiti is over 2m high will not be undertaken until a full Health & Safety Risk Assessment has been carried out
- Permission for work on a Listed Building must be obtained by the owner prior to placing an order with Sheffield City Council
- The work will produce an amount of water run-off and overspray
- We only undertake graffiti removal from the external walls of buildings
