Wisewood School Clean Up March 2009

Sheffield's Big Spring Clean is Back 1st March - 30th April 2010

Spring into action and take part in Sheffield's biggest ever clean up!

Remember we can help you organise a litter pick all year round. Please contact Community Services on 0114 273 4221 to borrow equipment.

Sheffield belongs to all of us

Street Force is dedicated to ridding our city of litter, but Sheffield belongs to all of us and we all need to help to keep it clean, green and safe. The easiest ways are by not dropping litter and keeping the fronts of our houses neat and tidy.

Over 200 community groups and individuals already work with us to improve where they live through:

  • Voluntary litter picking and clean ups
  • Bulb planting
  • Taking part in Sheffield in Bloom

If you would like to know more please contact our Community Services Section on:
(0114) 273 4221 or email streetforce@sheffield.gov.uk.

We can provide advice, talks, clean up materials for litter picking and a service to take away litter if you clear up more rubbish than will fit in your bin.

Sheffield City Council also works with Keep Britain Tidy an environmental public awareness campaign.  For further information visit the Keep Britain Tidy Website.
