This customer satisfaction level currently puts Sheffield above Birmingham but slightly below other core cities such as Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds.
The highest performing councils with regard to this indicator can be found in the north east (Gateshead and South Tyneside), their overall level of satisfaction being 12% above Sheffield and 9%, on average, above other core cities such as Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds.
Councils across the country (including Sheffield) have lessons to learn from their colleagues in the north east to look for ways that they can continue to develop and improve their performance.
