Walking Maps and Leaflets
There are many walks around Sheffield and surrounding countryside that you can do at your leisure.
Perhaps you are interested in the theme (e.g. history, nature) or are wanting to walk more to improve your health and fitness levels.
Download the walks leaflets below. To join a group with a walk leader to go on a stroll with, see Organised Walks. To plan a walking route see walkit.com.
Sheffield Round Walk
Starting at Endcliffe Park through the Porter Valley to Ringinglow the Round Walk descends through the Limb Valley and Ecclesall Woods. It climbs through Ladies Spring Wood and Chancet Wood to Graves Park and continues through the Gleadless Valley, Meersbrook Park and Chelsea Park before returning to Endcliffe Park.
The guide has been produced with the kind support of the J G Graves Charitable Trust. For a copy (£2.80), which includes historical and wildlife information, contact us on 0114 27 34083 or email parksandcountryside@sheffield.gov.uk.
