Sheffield Cycle Map
The Sheffield Cycle Map includes information about:
- Where recommended cycle routes are in Sheffield
- Other related transport information - e.g. bus lanes, tram routes, traffic calmed roads
- Locations of cycle parking and cycle shops
Sheffield City Council has recently revised the Sheffield Cycle Map. The original map was produced in 2001 in association with Pedal Pushers. The 2007 edition of the map includes new sections of the network and suggested routes from those of you who cycle in Sheffield. So thank you to those people who contacted us with amendments.
Darnall & Tinsley Cycle Map
Sheffield City Council has released a new cycle map covering the Darnall and Tinsley areas. The map will be delivered to households in these areas over the next two weeks and is also available in local libraries.
The map outlines the main cycle routes linking Darnall and Tinsley to employment and leisure sites in the Lower Don Valley, the City Centre, Rotherham Town Centre and Rother Valley Country Park. The map aims to raise awareness of the cycle routes that have been developed in recent years, for example it is possible to cycle from parts of Darnall to Meadowhall on flat off-road routes and similarly from Tinsley to Rotherham Town Centre.
Electronic copies of the maps are available to download at the bottom of this page.
If you would like a paper copy of either cycle map or would like to make any suggestions for future revisions of the map please Contact Us.
