Local Cycle Rides
The Sheffield section of the Cyclists Touring Club (CTC) and Pedal Pushers (the local cycle campaign group) organise regular rides for all ages and abilities. These rides can introduce you to other cyclists.
Cycling Touring Club events
An up-to-date outline of rides and social events organised by CTC will soon be available to download below. All of the rides are graded based upon the pace, terrain and distance - but beware that this is based on a seasoned cyclist's standards. People going regularly on these rides will be expected to become CTC members.
Pedal Pushers events
All Pedal Pushers evening rides are on Tuesday evenings, starting at 6.00pm in Barker's Pool. You can get a free text update on rides by sending a text "rides" and your name to Pedal Pushers on 07854 803 195. Pedal Pushers will add you to their ride list and send a text reminder before the ride including any changes or cancellations.
The full Pedal Pushers ride list is available on the Pedal Pusher's events page.
Cycle Maintenance Courses
Wood Lane Countryside Centre based in Stannington is running a comprehensive cycle maintenance course. Details of the venue and dates will soon be available to download below. For more information or to book contact Kevin Burke on 0114 231 6982.
