Highway Register
Under Section 36 of the Highways Act 1980, Sheffield City Council is obliged to keep a list of all the named streets within its area which are highways, in full or in part, maintainable at public expense.
The list, which can be viewed below, cannot be copied or reproduced in any way without the written authorisation of Sheffield City Council.
As part of the Council’s statutory duty, the list is constantly being updated and verified and therefore, whilst every effort is made to ensure accuracy, the Council cannot accept any liability for any inaccuracies.
Any issues of doubt or concern regarding the accuracy of the list should be clarified with the Highway Client and Records Team.
