Highway Records
We hold the Council’s Highways Register, Classified Roads List and other associated records.
We answer highway-related searches and property enquiries, including highway status enquiries, and process all permanent highway closures and diversions. Temporary highway closures or diversions are dealt with by the Council's Highway Co-ordination Group.
We are responsible for street naming and numbering and the Local Land and Property Gazetteer.
