Highway Adoptions and Records
The Highways Adoptions Group ensure that all new roads that are to be adopted and maintained by the City Council as public highway are constructed in accordance with the approved plans and to the correct standard.
The Highway Records Group answer highway-related searches and property enquiries. We also process all permanent highway closures and diversions and are responsible for street naming and numbering and the Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG).
