Nether Edge Article 4 Directions

 

Consultation for the designation of the Nether Edge Conservation included proposals to make a Direction restricting “permitted development rights”.  The Council has now confirmed an Article 4(2) Direction under the Town and Country (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 for selected properties in the Nether Edge Conservation Area.  This means that some changes and alterations to properties within the area now require planning permission.  A leaflet explaining the Direction, a copy of the Direction (including schedule of Addresses) and maps of the three areas identifying the affected properties are available below.
