Site Allocation Representations
What is a site allocation representation?
When the Core Strategy was submitted in September 2007 it was subjected to public consultation. Among the comments received on the Core Strategy were some site allocation representations.
A site allocation representation related to the Core Strategy is a representation which seeks to change the document by adding a policy which allocates a site for a particular use or development.
The City Council is required by planning regulations to make site allocation representations available for public inspection and to invite comments on them. Any comments received on the site allocation representations will be considered by the Inspector who is examining the soundness of the Core Strategy.
What site allocation representations have been made?
The following site allocation representations are now available for public inspection and comment:
- From Hallam Land Management Ltd – seeking the allocation of Oxclose Farm, Halfway as a residential allocation
- From G.L.Hearn on behalf of Tesco Stores and Santon Group Developments Ltd – seeking a direct reference to a superstore being provided on the TA site at Manor Top
- From G.L.Hearn on behalf of RFCA for Yorkshire and the Humber – seeking a direct reference to a superstore being provided on the TA site at Manor Top
Please note that the proposals featured in these site allocation representations have not been made by or on behalf of Sheffield City Council.
