The Planning Inspectorate has issued guidance on the assessment of soundness in a Development Plan Document (DPD). Objections must demonstrate that the submitted document fails to satisfy one or more of the Soundness Tests (these can be downloaded below).
SDF registered contacts are organisations and individuals who have asked to be kept up-to-date about the SDF, or organisations that we need to consult about planning policies. If you want to add your organisation to the list of registered contacts, or if you are an individual wishing to be added to our mailing list, then please either contact us or register yourself through Online Consultation.
If you need any help in getting involved in SDF consultations, please email sdf@sheffield.gov.uk or telephone 0114 273 4212.
Yorkshire Planning Aid (YPA): If you want assistance in getting involved in the SDF consultations, then you or your group may be eligible for independent planning advice from YPA. Read more about Yorkshire Planning Aid.
In June-July 2007 we consulted on the Preferred Options for the City Policies, City Sites and Proposals Map and several hundred representations were received. These comments have now been processed and each comment is now linked to the relevant paragraph, policy or site allocation in the City Policies and City Sites Preferred Options documents. Comments about the Proposals Map have been linked to the relevant designations and they are listed in Appendix C of the City Policies Preferred Options document. View the representations on the Preferred Options.
The City Conference on 10 July 2007 featured Workshops. View the Workshop Notes.
