West Bar Interim Planning Guidance

The West Bar Interim Planning Guidance (West Bar IPG) was adopted at City Centre, South and East Planning Board (30.5.06) and Cabinet (12.7.06) as a material consideration in determining planning applications for this City Centre site.

It will inform the preparation of the new Sheffield Development Framework as well as modifying outdated Council policy.  Planning applications contrary to the adopted West Bar IPG will be refused.

The guidance provides key principals for any new development proposals, promoting the highest quality urban design and architecture through the comprehensive redevelopment of the site.
