Cathedral Quarter Action Plan

The Cathedral Quarter is the original heart of medieval Sheffield.  It was the city's first middle class suburb and is now its main professional and business quarter.  Recognised as a distinctive city centre neighbourhood, the Cathedral Quarter has potential for the introduction of a richer mix of uses into the area.  Following extensive consultation, and Sheffield Cabinet endorsement in December 2004, this Action Plan provides a 10-year vision for the quarter, and will be used by the City Council to guide future development.
