South Sheffield Regeneration
Introduction
The South Sheffield Regeneration Team has responsibility for ensuring that the city’s regeneration objectives, specifically in relation to the City Council’s ‘Successful Neighbourhoods’ agenda, are delivered in South Sheffield and meet the needs of local people and the communities in which they live and work.
The work of the team involves securing resources, partnership working with a range of internal and external agencies, consulting and communicating with residents and stakeholders and delivering a range of regeneration projects across South Sheffield to achieve successful and sustainable neighbourhoods.

Our Area
The South Sheffield Regeneration Team represents one of three Area Development Frameworks (ADF) in Sheffield (there are also ADF regeneration teams in the East and North of the city). The ADFs were established to deliver the Housing Market Renewal (HMR) Pathfinder programme, which aims to address housing market weakness. Our team also leads on the Scowerdons, Weakland and Newstead (SWaN) project, although this is outside of the HMR boundary.

Our team structure
Within SSRT, there are four distinct project teams – these teams work on projects within certain parts of South Sheffield. A copy of the team’s structure chart is available for you to download at the bottom of this page.
Our customer standards
The Strategic Housing Service includes a diverse range of services. These services provide direct customer services and have individual charters tailored to the specific services they provide. This overall customer charter provides the key principles for all staff in providing services to internal and external customers.

We regularly monitor the results from customer feedback. These are fed back to our Performance Management Team on a monthly basis who monitor and analyse the results. Below you will find a table showing the results from April 2006 to June 2008. We will update this page on a monthly basis with the most up to date information.

Our newsletters
The South Regeneration Team produce an ADF Regeneration Newsletter, which is posted out to residents within the ADF area. The newsletter gives an update on regeneration activity. The latest version of the newsletter is available for you to download at the bottom of this page.
A separate SWaN Regeneration Newsletter is also produced, and is posted out to all residents who live on the SWaN estates and other stakeholders.
