Transport Assessment
A Transport Assessment describes the effects of a development on the local highway network, and considers its accessibility by all modes of transport equally. For further information, see the Council's Guidelines for the Preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans and the Department for Transport (DFT) Guidance on Transport Assessment.
A Transport Assessment (and a Travel Plan) will generally be required for developments matching or exceeding the criteria set out below:
