Making an enquiry about whether planning permission is required

If you need advice on whether or not you need planning permission for your proposal, please write including the following information:
 
  • Your name, address and daytime contact details (telephone number and email address)
 
  • Address of site (if different)
 
  • Description of proposed renewable energy works
 
  • Full dimensions
 
  • A sketch location plan, showing the location of the proposed renewable energy device
 
  • For a wall-mounted wind turbine, will any part of the structure lie within two metres of the property boundary?
 
  • For a roof or chimney-mounted wind turbine, will any part of the structure face a highway?
 
  • Include any brochure or weblink to details of the renewable energy device proposed.
