Making an enquiry about whether planning permission is required
If you need advice on whether or not you need planning permission for your proposal, please write including the following information:
- Your name, address and daytime contact details (telephone number and email address)
- Address of site (if different)
- Description of proposed renewable energy works
- Full dimensions
- A sketch location plan, showing the location of the proposed renewable energy device
- For a wall-mounted wind turbine, will any part of the structure lie within two metres of the property boundary?
- For a roof or chimney-mounted wind turbine, will any part of the structure face a highway?
- Include any brochure or weblink to details of the renewable energy device proposed.
