City Centre Team/New Retail Quarter Team

City Centre Team

 
The City Centre Team is focussed on the regeneration of the City Centre including Central Riverside.  The Team provides the local planning service for the City Centre, leading on the production of Quarter Action Plans and thematic guidance, such as the City Centre Living Strategy.  It is working on a review of the City Centre Masterplan, with consultants procured by Creative Sheffield.  It takes the lead as client on all Public Realm Projects and works closely with Transport Planning and Creative Sheffield where appropriate, on all major transport initiatives in the City Centre.  The New Retail Quarter Team is also led by a senior manager attached to the CDD.  Other major projects include the Moor and New Markets, the Wicker Riverside, Castlegate, St. Vincent’s and West Bar.

Development projects in the City Centre.  Lead officer for Wicker Enhancement Scheme and Station/Sheaf Square.  Liaison Officer for Cultural Industries Quarter agency and Hallam University.  Lead Officer for City Centre Living Strategy.  General policy and development advice for City Centre, St. Georges and Wicker/Nursery Street.
