Building Standards provides a Building Control Service and Public Safety Services in relation to dangerous or derelict buildings, structures and trees. 

 

Building Standards is accredited to ISO:9001:2000.  Our experienced and appropriately qualified professional staff will work with you in a helpful way to ensure that your project meets the required standards and your needs.

 

Sheffield City Council is fully committed in its support of the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) type approval and partner authority initiatives and works in accordance with "Building Control Performance Standards" published by the Government department - Communities and Local Government
