Our Performance and Targets
We are committed to:
- The economic and physical regeneration of the City.
- Improve the quality of new development via a Development Control Service that is highly efficient, pro-active, customer focused and performs strongly.
- Raise the quality of the built, green, water and historic environments.
- Promote environmentally sustainable development.
- Create inspirational buildings and designed environments that are sustainable.
- Develop and manage a construction procurement strategy to deliver the Council’s capital programme to achieve “Best Value”.
We'll check our progress of the above by:
- Producing a Service Plan and Best Value Performance Plan
- Monitoring Key Performance Indicators. You can download a copy of our performance report for 2007/08 from the bottom of this page.
- Performing surveys to monitor customer satisfaction and best value reviews
- Performing consultations on a variety of topics throughout the city
- Producing statistics on our targets and complaints
