All of the accommodation listed has been assessed as part of the National Quality Assurance scheme (so is inspected by either the AA or Quality in Tourism Ltd). This is the scheme which awards 'star' ratings to hotels and 'diamond' (or, from 2006 'stars') to properties offering B&B or self-catering facilities. Accommodation in Sheffield offers the full range up to 4 star hotels.
