Green Flag is a benchmark of excellence in recreational green areas.
Sites must be freely accessible to the public and have a site-specific management plan. Sites are judged against eight criteria:
- A Welcoming Place
- Healthy, Safe and Secure
- Clean and Well Maintained
- Sustainability
- Conservation and Heritage
- Community Involvement
- Marketing
- Management
The current management plan for Norfolk Heritage Park, is a dynamic document which ensures the continued success and sustainable future by guiding Parks and Countryside and all those involved in achieving the vision for the site.
