Kettlebridge Doorstep Green Official Opening

On Saturday 19th November 2005 local residents and Councillors joined the Darnall Green Spaces Regeneration Project and Kettlebridge Action Group to celebrate the official opening of Kettlebridge Doorstep Green.

 

The event was a huge success with everyone in high spirits enjoying the entertainment provided which included a balloon modeller, bouncy castles, nail artists, arts and crafts, food and refreshments.

 

Kettlebridge Action Group raised the money for the green and carried out consultation to find out what local people wanted and with the community’s help they have made valuable contributions towards the success of this project. This once rundown area is now a place they feel proud of and can show off.
