Parks & Countryside - Area Action Plans

Parks and Countryside Area Action Plans have been developed by the 12 Area Panels.  They identify the priority themes and green space sites in each Panel area for development and regeneration when opportunities arise.

 

 

The Area Action Plans are based on a mix of research, Council Officer knowledge, and consultation with Area Co-ordinators, elected members, partners, and particularly extensive consultation with Friends groups and other community groups and members of the public.

 

The Plans represent an ambitious attempt to provide an overview of how the service is managed and delivered at an area level and will be built on each year to show a growth of improvement in both service delivery and green-space regeneration.
