Verdon Street Recreation Centre

 

A variety of different facilities are on offer at Verdon Street Recreation Centre.  The centre is fully accessible for people with disabilities, and has recently been upgraded to meet all DDA standards.

 

A selection of training courses are on offer at the Centre, these have been tailored to meet the need sof the local community.

 

A regular programme of Physical Activity sessions are run from the centre by fully qualified and accredited Activity Sheffield staff.

We want Verdon Recreation Centre to become a key centre for sports and physical activities within Burngreave and to do this we need to know what you want us to provide.

 

The Centre staff, Activity Sheffield’s project staff within Burngreave, and the local community based groups, are keen to work in partnership to improve opportunities for local people.

 

Our vision is for a busy Centre where local residents from all backgrounds and abilities are regularly participating in sport and physical activities, feeling better about themselves, meeting new friends and gaining accredited training, which will provide real opportunities to work within the Burngreave community.
