Being relatively close to the City Centre means that Heeley Pool is very accessible by public transport or on foot.

 

Many buses stop nearby on Abbeydale Road, including the number 75 bus, plus the circular and 97 bus routes have stops immediately in front of the pool, on Broadfield Road.
