Sheffield was awarded beacon council status for its better public places during round 9 of the Beacon Scheme.

What is the Beacon Scheme?

The Beacon Scheme is a prestigious award scheme that recognises excellence in local government. You can find out more about this on the Beacon Scheme Website.

Our distinct approach to place management stems from:

  • our commitment to people and communities
