Litter bin sponsorship
Would you like to help keep our city centre clean? If your answer is yes, then why not sponsor a litter bin?
The type of bin provided is our standard, black, post box bin (see picture on the downloadable form at the bottom of this page). It can also have a ‘kwik stubb’ ashtray fixed onto the top to provide somewhere for the safe disposal of cigarettes.
The bin comes with a 210mm x 148mm (A5) gold effect plaque with the wording 'Provided by [your company name], Committed to keeping your city centre clean.' It will be emptied, cleaned and maintained like all other city centre litter bins.

Litter bin cleaning programme
The City Centre Management Team monitor all litter bins in the city centre on a monthly basis to check they are not damaged, in need or repair, unclean, or covered with graffiti, fly posters, stickers, gum or dirt. This process also ensure any old bins are replaced.
The litter bin cleaning programme takes place twice a year, and involves power washing both the inside and outside of the bins to ensure they are completely clean.
