Sheffield Children's Book Award
The Sheffield Children’s Book Award began in 1988. The project was first started to encourage children and young people to read and also to highlight the very best children’s books published each year. Now, nearly every school in Sheffield takes part and you can also vote in your local library or on-line. The Award has a Longer Novels category aimed at readers 11- 16. Check the books on this years list or recommend books for next year, we would love to hear your thoughts.
