You said, we did - Children's Survey
These are some of the suggestions which you made in the last Children's Library Satisfaction Survey about how the service can be improved, and our responses ....
At Manor, Park and Burngreave Libraries, you said that you would like brighter decoration.
We have planned a brighter colour scheme for Manor when it re-opens. We have put colourful panels on the walls at Park, and re-decorated Burngreave - including new graphics on the walls.
At Manor Library, you said that you would like a teenage area.
We have designed a space for the new look Manor with teenage books, DVDs, CDs and comfy seating close together.
At Firth Park Library, you said that you would like a quiet reading area and more clubs.
We are setting up a Homework Zone and a reading group.
At Ecclesfield Library, you said that you would like a book club.
We have set up a Chatterboox Group for 8-10 year olds.
At Limpsfield Library, you said that you would like to borrow more than 10 books.
We have increased the number of books you can borrow at any one time to 15.
At Ecclesall Library, you said that you worry about children running out of the automatic doors.
We believe the library is safe, but we take your concerns seriously and will undertake a full risk assessment of the library.
