Between April and June you paid us over 1,800 compliments - thank you, and made nearly 540 complaints or comments about aspects of the service which are not meeting your expectations.
These included:
Physical access to some libraries
We acknowledge that some buildings do not meet access requirements. We have successfully explored an alternative location for Broomhill Library and plans are in hand to improve access to the Central Library.
Computer facilities
We acknowledge that the People's Network needs to be upgraded and modernised. The City Council is in the process of finalising a new contract for its ICT services. Part of this contract includes a "refresh" of the People's Network technology and will include facilities such as access to USB memory sticks.
Environments
We will continue our planned programme of refurbishments and rebuilds to provide more modern and attractive libraries.
