Changes to Totley Library Opening Hours
Longer opening hours on Saturdays
Further to the summer survey of users and the subsequent recommendation made at the South West Area Panel public meeting on 24 September 2008, we are piloting an increase in opening hours from 1 December 2008 until 31 March 2009.
This extra funding has been found from savings in the Streetforce budget achieved through a reduction in shop site cleaning by one session a week.
Totley's new hours will be:
Monday 10am-12.30pm & 1.30-7pm
Tuesday 9.30am-12.30pm & 1.30-5.30pm
Wednesday 9.30am-12.30pm & 1.30-5.30pm
Friday 9.30am-12.30pm & 1.30-5.30pm
Saturday 9.30am-3pm
A further survey will be undertaken in March to gain views on the impact of these changes.
