The following services are available in the building:
Central Children's and Young People's Library provides a comprehensive library service to children, young people and families. Both lending and reference facilities are available including multi-format videos and talking books.
Offers a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books, tapes and cds. Offers many other services including drama collection, books in community languages, black and gay and lesbian collections, graphic novels, Sheffield Writers Resource Centre and runs several Reading Groups.
Offers a specialist reference collection of printed material relating to Sheffield and the surrounding area, and makes it available for study and research. The collection of over 30,000 volumes includes books, pamphlets, journals and reports on all aspects of the city's history and development and the lives of its people.
Offers a reference and information service on all aspects of music, including the lending of CDs, DVDs, videos, books, scores and performing sets.
Provides information on all aspects of arts, business, humanities, sciences, social sciences, sports, and technologies. Includes the Alan Rouse Climbing and Mountaineering Collection. Also offers information on local community clubs, groups and services and what's on and events in Sheffield. Runs the reception point for Sheffield Libraries, Archives & Information.
Offers a subscription based metallic materials information service covering ferrous and non ferrous metals.
