- Oxford Dictionary of National Biography - look through over 50,000 biographies of men and women who shaped Britain's past, as well as various Themes.
- NewsUK - search through a variety of national and local newspapers. Also has useful news topics on a variety of issues.
- Who's Who and Who Was Who - Who's Who includes information on over 33,000 influential people in British public life, and Who's Was Who is an historical archives of over 90,000 deceased people, previously included in Who's Who.
