24/7 Online Services

Remember even when our libraries are closed you can still use our 24/7 online resources.

Take a look at online dictionaries, thesauri and encyclopedias, newspapers, biographies, local information & events, and tracing your ancestors, as well as access to our online library catalogue.

Search through hundreds of reference books, maps and illustrations and find lots of interesting facts.  Look at works of art, translate words in to French, German, Spanish or Italian, or find out about Who's Who.

Try PN Enquire - a free live service provided by library services in England, USA and Canada.  Provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and works like instant messaging or a chat room, enabling you to ask questions to staff who can help you, just as if you were talking face to face or over the telephone.
