A free library service provided in partnership by the hospital and Sheffield Libraries, Archives and Information Services. The service includes:
- videos
- CDs
- music cassettes
- electronic games
- playback machines complete with headphones
- reading aids.
There is also a Cancer Information Service consisting of books, videos and leaflets available to both inpatients and outpatients, their families and carers.
The library staff also provide practical advice and information about the types of headwear available, organise group demonstrations or confidential one-to-one consultation. The staff also run regular activities for patients.
