The self-issue system at Upperthorpe Library may be used while the Healthy Living Centre is open.

- Access online national, regional and local newspapers using NewsUK, including the Sheffield Star or look through our online magazines & journals using Infotrac Custom Journals
- You can check and renew items you have on loan and also reserve items using the online Library Catalogue. You need a Personal Identification Number (PIN number) to request an item or view your membership details.
- Use EventSheffield - the definitive guide to what's on in Sheffield.
- Why not begin tracing your ancestors with Ancestry.com.
- Use PN Enquire - a free 24 hours, 7 days a week online service that enables anyone to ask a question at any time day or night, so people do not need to wait until their local library opens.

You can still take books out when the library is not staffed. Just use the Self Issue System in the library - the machine gives you simple instructions - all you need to do is follow these three steps Scan your Library card or Smartcard ... then scan your book...then take your receipt.

- Councillors Surgery - Veronica Hardstaff. 1st Saturday in the month 10-11am.
- Langsett Advice Sessions - Tuesdays and Fridays 10am-12.30pm. To book a slot at one of these sessions please telephone 07794110509 between 9 & 10am on that day.
