Display Boards

Sheffield Information Service is responsible for booking out the two display boards on the first floor of the Central Library. They are for use primarily by non-commercial voluntary and community organisations in Sheffield.

Provisional bookings can be made over the telephone or in person. We then ask for a letter giving a contact name and telephone number and a brief description of the aims of the organisation and nature of the display. Once we have received this information, we will write confirming the booking.

Display material must not contravene Council policy or be likely to cause public offence. All displays are booked subject to approval and we reserve the right to withdraw permission after inspection.

Bookings are normally from Monday to Saturday for a three week period, though it may be possible to extend this period for a major event.
