Use xreferplus - A giant online reference library providing free 24/7 access to a selection of reference books, including encyclopaedias, dictionaries and thesauri. Subjects cover a wide range and include art, fashion, law, homeopathy, geography, history, music, languages, science and technology, and include Saunders Comprehensive Veterinary Dictionary.
Use KnowUK and NewsUK - two online reference libraries providing free access to over 100 reference books and a variety of national and local newspapers. Books include Willings Press Guide, Good Food Guide, Hutchinson Encyclopaedia of Britain, All-Time Greats of British and Irish Sport, and various Which? Guides. Newspapers include the Daily Mail, Financial Times, The Guardian, The Sun, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, Scotsman, and their Sunday equivalents.
