Law
We hold a collection of law books, journals and loose leaf titles, as well as a variety of official and parliamentary publications suitable for students, practitioners and the general public.
The literature of English law may be divided into two broad categories: the primary sources and the secondary sources. The primary sources are the law itself, whilst the secondary are commentaries on it.
Primary sources available in the Business, Science and Technology Library are Acts and Bills (Acts in draft form), Statutory Instruments, Cases, Codes of Practice and Byelaws.
Secondary sources include textbooks, encyclopaedias and journals.
