The People's Network Computers in Sheffield

- Personal computers (PCs) connected to broadband Internet services.
- Each PC is equipped with a full Microsoft Office 2000 suite. This includes:
- Word (word processing);
- Excel (spreadsheets);
- PowerPoint (presentations);
- Access (databases); and
- Internet Explorer (web browsing).
- 16 libraries have a flatbed scanner connected to a PC with Adobe Photoshop Elements editing software.
- Each library has one PC with a height adjustable desk and a 19" monitor.
- All registered users have a personal 5Mb file store, which can be accessed from any PC in any public library in Sheffield.
- Unrestricted access to the floppy disk drive to save your work. If you do not have your own disks, they can be purchased in the library.
- High quality black and white laser printing at 5p per page.
