Sheffield Landlord Trade Fair
The second annual Landlord Trade Fair was in October 2008.
The free to attend event took place on Thursday 9 October 2008 at Don Valley Stadium, 1pm to 7pm.
It was open to Responsible Landlord Scheme members, any other landlords in the area, as well as people interested in the private rented / buy-to-let market.
What happened at the event
There were a variety of stands, including:
- The Sheffield Responsible Landlord Scheme
- South Yorkshire Fire Service
- Corgi gas
- NICEIC electrical safety
- Financial Advisors
- Solicitors
- Letting agents
- Insurance companies
- Fire detection equipment suppliers
- The Deposit Protection Service
- Liberata ( Housing Allowance)
and other organisations and related companies working in the sector. The event had about 250 people through the door for the 34 stands.
