Darnall Green Spaces Regeneration Project

Gateway to the adventurous playground in High Hazels ParkPond and boardwalk on 70 Acre Hill

The Project aims to facilitate the regeneration of the following sites in Darnall:
 
 
 
The Project works together with the following stakeholders:
 
  • Darnall’s residents and park users
  • Darnall Area Environment Theme Group
  • Friends of High Hazels Park
  • Phillimore Park Community Association
  • Kettlebridge Action Group
  • Greenlands Primary School
  • Phillimore Primary School
 
 
The Project carries out the following tasks:
 
  • Consultation with community members and stakeholders.
  • Public events for children.
  • Environmental education for school groups.
  • Raising funds toward improvements to the sites.
  • Management of capital works to the sites.
  • Practical conservation at the sites.
 
The Project’s team consists of a Project Development Officer, a Project Ranger and a Project Assistant.
 
The Project is open to the public during working hours, their office is in High Hazels Park in the old café building opposite the playground.
