Revenue Grants Fund

Revenue Grants are offered on a year on year basis to support voluntary organisations across the city that provide services to benefit the people of Sheffield. We are currently supporting around 65 different organisations.

The grants are managed by our Voluntary Sector Liaison Team, which as well as acting as a first contact point for matters concerning grants, also provides help and advice about:
  • completing grant application and monitoring forms;
  • meeting grant conditions;
  • developing and implementing good practice.

The Revenue Grants Fund is fully committed for 2008-09. You can find out more about the organisations awarded grants in 2008-09 from the downloadable documents at the bottom of this page. To find out about the organisations that were supported in Sheffield last year and what they provided with the money take a look at the Revenue Grants Fund Annual Report 2007-08

Volunteering opportunities

Many of the voluntary and community sector organisations we support rely on the input of volunteers. Volunteering can be an exciting way of getting involved in new activities and experiences as well as making an important contribution to the lives of others. Out of pocket expenses are usually reimbursed and appropriate training is provided. You can find out about some current volunteering opportunities with organisations we fund or contact the Volunteer Centre at Voluntary Action Sheffield for more information.
